On Monday June 30th the much revered yet underrated 1984 World Champions Detroit Tigers were honored at Comerica Park in Detroit. Even though this team got off to the best start in MLB history 35-5, went on to win 104 games, ran away with the division by 15 games, had the Cy Young and MVP winning Willie Hernadez and dozens of epic highlights. The one thing they lack from that squad is a single Hall of Famer. Of course I could rant all day and bore you with stats…and I’m sure I will someday, but I was able to capture THE best ceremonial 1st pitch in MLB history…….Take a look
